The 'Fluker's Ultra-Deluxe Premium Heat Mat will work fine on the bottom, side, or top of the enclosure and is safe to keep on all night.
This product operates at a constant 100°F temperature. It is not recommended to be used on plastic. You can use this product under substrate.
